In case you haven’t noticed I’m all about spending time with dogs around here! Whether it’s playing Pet Photo Bingo (sign up here!), heading to the local baseball games, or scheduling a photoshoot to capture this time in their lives, creating memories with your dogs is important.  And being a wine geek of course I want to include my pups in one of my favorite pastimes 🙂

So, here’s a quick round up the top 5 dog-friendly patios in the Royal Oak and Ferndale area.

This brewery loves dogs! They are new to the area but are an awesome spot to hangout with your dog outside on their patio while enjoying one of their brews. They often have food trucks in the area but you can also pick up food to go and bring it to enjoy. You can check out their website here.

Urbanrest Brewing

This brewery has two locations and updates their website daily with what food truck is going to be hanging out. Bring your pup to the patio and enjoy a cold one.

Ferndale Project

Beer, food, and coffee the Ferndale Project has you covered for your summer drinks and munchies. They curate old favorites and new creations on their menu often and their chef, Jalen, has been with them since the beginning!

There isn’t a lot of shade on the patio so you may want to time your visit when it’s not too hot/sunny for your pup.  And there’s a hot pink wall, perfectly Instagramable!

Detroit Fleat

This food truck park and boozery has such a great vibe! They have a year round rotation of food trucks and you will have an abundant selection of boozy Slooshies and cocktails.
