Frequently Asked Questions

About Jen & Firefly Pet Photography
Growing up my dog, Laddie, was my best friend. We would go camping together, share popsicles, and he never judged my “fashion sense”. I wish that I had more photographs of Laddie and I together.
At least I had my senior photos taken with our next dog, Beau. I just remember that everyone ignored me and focused on him. This senior photo is still on the wall at my mom and dad’s house and that’s probably because it includes Beau 🙂
When I photograph younger kids with their pets I feel like I’m giving that family two gifts. One that the parents can enjoy now, and one that their children will appreciate in the future.
Working with kids and dogs can be chaos – and I love it! I don’t expect either one to understand what’s going on or “behave”. I just want everyone to be themselves, that’s where the magic is at.
